Remembering who we are

Remembering who we are

At NEH, we often speak about fragrance as a portal.

A bridge between the sensory world and the inner one. A quiet moment where something within us remembers itself. But behind every bottle, every ritual, every ceremony we create, there are women.

Women thinking.
Women building.
Women sensing.
Women creating.

International Women’s Day is often about celebrating achievements. And that matters. But today we want to honor something even deeper.

The remembering.

Because the truth is that many women move through life having forgotten parts of themselves.

Forgotten their intuition.
Forgotten their power.
Forgotten their voice.
Forgotten that they are allowed to take up space in the world.

Not because they are weak.
But because the world has been loud.

At NEH, our work is about softening that noise.

Through scent.
Through ritual.
Through moments of presence.

And it begins with the women who bring this vision to life every day.
Women who show up not only with their skills, but with their sensitivity, creativity, intuition and strength. Women who believe that beauty can be meaningful. That fragrance can hold emotion. That presence is a form of power.

They are founders, creators, collaborators, partners and community. Different paths, different voices, different stories. Yet united by one quiet understanding:

That remembering who you are is the most powerful act there is.

When a woman remembers herself, something shifts.

She stops shrinking.
She stops apologizing for her light.
She stops waiting for permission.

And from that place, she begins to create.

New ideas.
New spaces.
New ways of living.

This is the energy that lives inside NEH.Not only in the fragrances themselves, but in the women who shape them and the community that surrounds them.

Today we honor them.

The women inside this house.
The women wearing the fragrances.
The women rediscovering their intuition, their creativity, their voice.

Because the world does not need women who are smaller.
It needs women who remember.
And sometimes all it takes is a single moment.

A breath.
A scent.
A quiet return to yourself.

Wherever you are today, take a moment for yourself.
Choose a fragrance.

Pause before you spray it.

Close your eyes.
Take one slow breath.
Ask yourself gently:

What part of me is ready to be remembered today?

Then apply the fragrance as you normally would. Let it settle on the skin, to move with your breath. Let it accompany you through the day as a quiet reminder: You are not becoming someone new. You are merely remembering who you already are.

Happy International Women’s Day from all of us at NEH
